Melody O'Dell Nursing Scholarship

The Melody O’Dell Nursing Scholarship was established on October 1,2024 as an annual award. O’Dell Nursing Scholarship will be selected by the Vernon College Scholarship Committee based on the following criteria:
1. Open to a Nursing Student in either the Associate Degree Nursing or Licensed Vocational Nursing Programs. 2. Evidence of Financial Need. 3. Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. 4. Must submit a short 1-page essay addressing the following questions:
(a) How will this scholarship help address your financial need? (b) What will these funds go toward to assist with your Nursing education? © What are your plans after graduating from the Nursing Program? This scholarship will support tuition, fees and program-required educational supplies.. Annual application is required.
