Hamilton D. W. and Billie Ruth Phillips Naylor Scholarship, Criteria: First preference will be given to graduates of Vernon High School. Student Athletes are ineligible. Evidence of financial need. GPA of 3.0 or better. If there are no eligible candidates who meet Criteria 1 and 3, other students who meet the other criteria may be considered. Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours each fall and spring semester. Terms of Scholarship: Maintain a 3.0 GPA. Scholarship applies to tuition, fees and books. Scholarship must be used within the academic year awarded. Re-application necessary each academic year. Supplemental Instruction: Must submit a statement showing evidence of leadership, such as community involvement or school activities.
