John F. and Peggy J. Liles Endowed Scholarship, Criteria: First preference to a graduate of Vernon High School. If there are no qualified applicants who meet Criterion 1, then consideration will be given to residents of the Vernon College 12 county service area. Grade point average of 3.0 or better. Enrolled in a least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester. Open to students in academic courses only. Terms of Scholarship: Maintain a 3.0 GPA. Scholarship applies to tuition, fees and books. Scholarship must be used within the academic year awarded. Re-application necessary each academic year.
