Dr. Gary Don Harkey Memorial

The Dr. Gary Don Harkey Memorial Scholarship is open to students majoring in Agriculture or Farm and Ranch Management. First preference will be to residents of Wilbarger County. Second preference to residents of the Vernon College 12 county service area. A grade point average of 3.0 or better in college courses. Additionally first preference will be given to students enrolled full-time, taking at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester. Second preference will be given to students enrolled part-time, taking at least 6 credit hours each fall and spring semester. Terms of Scholarship: Maintain a 3.0 GPA. Scholarship applies to tuition, fees and books. Scholarship must be used within the academic year awarded. Re-application necessary each academic year.
