Dr. Jim Farber Phi Theta Kappa

Dr. Jim Farber Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, Criteria: Member of Omega Kappa Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. Grade point average of 3.5 or better to receive initially. Enrolled in at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester. Personal qualities such as character, citizenship, and reputation. Evidence of financial need. Terms of Scholarship: Maintain membership in good standing in PTK. Maintain a grade point average of at least 3.0 or better with no Fs on transcript. Scholarship applies to tuition, fees and books. Scholarship must be used within the academic year awarded. Re-application necessary each academic year. Supplemental Instruction: Must submit a letter of recommendation attesting to the applicant’s character, citizenship and reputation.

The PTK Advisors will recommend qualified applicants to the Vernon College Scholarship Committee.
